Key Responsibilities Take the time to personally connect with donors – listen to their stories and help them understand how impactful their donation is. Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and friendly environment so volunteer donors feel comfortable coming back again and again. Be detail oriented to ensure collected blood meets regulatory requirements and can be safely transfused. Follow all safety procedures while collecting lifesaving blood donations that are delivered to hospitals. Work a variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays; schedule is provided two to three weeks in advance. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum of one year customer service experience in a public setting. Current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Physical ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights, operate ramps and stairs, sit or stand for long periods, and adapt to irregular hours and frequent schedule changes. Basic computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (e.g., CNA, MA, EMT). Prior leadership experience.
