**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Cashier/Sales professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting and contribute to the success of our business.
**Duties:**
- Manage cash register and process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Sell products to customers and assist with stocking shelves and maintaining store displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Handle cash handling duties and balance cash register at the end of the shift.
- Supervise and assist with the work of other sales associates as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash register area and surrounding areas. Cleaning consits of wiping down cases, shelves, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitizing.
- Use basic math skills to accurately handle cash and operate the cash register.
- Be proficient in operating a cash register and handle cash handling duties.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and store appearance.
- Being able to stand for long periods of time and always keeping store fully stocked throughout each shift.
- Having basic computer skills.
- Working with a POS register, adding items to our sytem, pricing new products and updating prices as needed.
- Keeping the store presentable, facing items on shelves and cases.
- Constantly checking for expired products and making sure items are rotated regularly.
- Occasionally cleaning store restroom.
**Requirements:**
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are an asset.
- Experience in a retail environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills.
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
