Job Description:

Welcomes new team members and facilitates their integration into the organization. Supports the clinical ladder program by assisting with all related aspects. Travels as needed to mentor and teach clinical team members. Instructs clinical orientation sessions to ensure new staff understand protocols and procedures. Develops and delivers training materials, including competency checklists for clinical skills. Mentors staff, focusing on training new employees and those needing additional support. Provides feedback to supervisors regarding employee performance and progress. Assists with performance evaluations as needed. Monitors and rounds on new team members regularly to ensure adherence to clinical standards. Creates and provides additional learning opportunities for staff development. Teaches new skills required for new procedures or services to maintain quality care. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. [Required]

• Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion with sensitive personal information. [Required]

• Well-developed professional verbal and written communication skills. [Required]

• Computer skills with accurate data entry and typing ability. [Required]

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and excellent follow-through: self-motivated, self-disciplined, and detail oriented. [Required]

• Ability to speak and present in front of a new team members and AdventHealth Leaders. [Required]

• Ability to learn new technology or processes. [Required]

• Intermediate Microsoft Suite computer proficiency; including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. [Required]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Field of Study:

• graduate or equivalent

Work Experience:

• 3+ years of clinical, ambulatory care [Required]

• Experience as a clinical preceptor or trainer in designated role or field [Preferred]

• Experience teaching in formal/informal settings [Preferred]

Additional Information:

• N/A

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) [Required]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
