This role involves representing clients in various commercial matters, including contracts, partnerships, business disputes, employment issues, and compliance matters. Key Responsibilities - Represent clients in commercial litigation cases before courts and arbitration panels.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Negotiate settlements and manage discovery processes in litigation cases.
- Provide legal advice to clients on matters related to contracts, partnerships, and business operations.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting commercial litigation.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice in the state of NY- licensed in NJ and PA is a major plus!
- J.D. from an accredited law school and a strong academic record.
- 4+ years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Proven experience in handling contract, partnership, and business disputes.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple cases.
