Elementary School Assistant Principal, Chestnut Hill Academy at Bright Horizons The Assistant Principal at Chestnut Hill Academy is responsible for fostering an environment that allows children, their families, and the staff to develop to their full potential. The Assistant Principal is accountable for school operation that exceeds local state and district criteria and incorporates Bright Horizons Family Solutions' mission, organizational goals, values, philosophies and policies, and development of positive relationships with parents, children, families, and Client. Responsibilities Assistant Principals are encouraged to delegate responsibilities as is appropriate. Assistant Principal will review important decisions with the Principal, Head of Schools and be responsive to the requirements of the Corporate Office. Assistant Principal will model exemplary employee behavior. By providing leadership, training and guidance, you will ensure the teaching team provides a safe and nurturing environment for children that encourages their social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. Qualifications Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements: Must have a valid WA state teaching certificate, required Must have a valid WA state administrators certificate, required BA/MA in Elementary Education, Education Leadership, required Demonstrated knowledge and 5 years of experience in an elementary school setting, highly preferred Physical Requirements This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons', and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery and services per Bright Horizons' policies, procedures and guidance, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations, and in a manner that will ensure the safety of children in Bright Horizons care and the employee. Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $145,000 - $155,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
