The Rohatyn Group (TRG) is seeking a motivated Finance Analyst to join our Finance team in New York. This role will support core financial planning & analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis. We are open to candidates at both the entry-level (recent graduates) and early-career (1+ years of experience) stages. The level, responsibilities, and compensation will be aligned based on the candidate’s experience and skill set. Key Responsibilities Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures. Create and maintain forecasting/budgeting P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow models as well as the development of financial models to address business needs. Identify, track and analyze key metrics / trends that impact the business. Review monthly expense results with functional department heads. Work closely with various levels of global finance team to ensure alignment on priorities and direction. Identify and act on opportunities to automate, streamline and improve reporting and budgeting procedures. Support day-to-day operations with various finance functions. Provide cost/benefit analysis of various financial elements of potential new initiatives. Assist in the preparation of quarterly management presentations/reporting packages. Requirements Undergraduate or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 0–2+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling). Experience with Power BI or similar tools a plus Basic understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Compensation Salary Range: $68,000 – $90,000 base salary, commensurate with experience.
