What You'll Do as a Furniture Assembler: - Assemble products using basic hand tools like drills, sanders, and screwdrivers
- Measure accurately using both metric and standard tape measures
- Read and interpret shop drawings to correctly assemble products
- Process parts on the Flatline and support departments with high-volume production needs
- Operate equipment such as the assembly press and wrap machine
- Build and assemble drawer boxes according to the production schedule
- Check your work to ensure everything meets quality standards
- Inspect parts and check your work throughout the process to ensure all products meet quality standards
- Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe
Our Ideal Furniture Assembler: - Experienced: 1 year of assembly experience preferred; comfortable using basic hand tools (drills, sanders, screwdrivers) and reading both standard and metric tape measures.
- Coachable & Motivated: Open to feedback, willing to learn, and takes initiative to improve and grow.
- Detail-oriented: Focuses on quality and accuracy in daily work.
- Team Player & Reliable: Works well with others, communicates clearly, and shows up consistently with a positive attitude.
- Active: Able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and bend, kneel, and lift up to 75 lbs.
What We Offer Our Furniture Assembler: - Full-time schedule with early Friday finish (Monday-Thursday 6:30 AM-4:00 PM, Friday 6:30 AM-10:30 AM)
- $16/hour for entry-level team members, with higher pay based on related experience
