Availablity based on experience and qualifications PAY: Competitive hourly wage (DOE – Depending on Experience) WHAT WE OFFER Sign-on bonus, based on experience and qualifications Competitive pay Comprehensive benefits package Weekly pay Safety pay Employee referral bonus Annual safety boot voucher Paid vacation Career advancement opportunities WHAT YOU’LL DO Safely operate heavy equipment on heavy civil and road construction projects, following all Company and OSHA safety requirements Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, and crew members to complete projects safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards Follow grade and GPS guidance when applicable Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns Assist with additional duties as assigned EQUIPMENT YOU MAY OPERATE Depending on your experience level, equipment may include: Excavators Dozers Front End Loaders Skid Steers Motor Graders Asphalt Pavers Milling Machines Rollers and Compactors Other heavy construction equipment QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED preferred Two or more years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred Experience reading grade stakes and using GPS machine control is a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Ability to safely operate construction equipment and hand tools Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and dependable transportation Must be at least 18 years old Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing WORK ENVIRONMENT Outdoor work in all weather conditions Lifting of up to 50 pounds Sitting, climbing, bending, twisting, standing, crouching, and repetitive wrist and foot pedal motions Overtime required as needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required WHY TRI-STAR CONSTRUCTION?
