Dignity Health Solano Street Medical Clinic is looking for a family medicine or internal medicine physician for long term coverage with option to extend! Rural Health Clinic open for 5 years offering: Primary Care, Acute Care, Pediatrics, and Podiatry. Patient visits are scheduled at 40 minute intervals the first couple of weeks to allow for the incoming provider to get oriented and comfortable. BID DUE DATE: Dec 5 @ 3p EST! Details: May 15, 2024 Start (7:30a-5:30p) - (will consider an April start if provider wants to start earlier than May) Must be available full time for 6 months to start. 40 hours per week, 4x10s, no call, no weekends. First patient at 8a and last patient at 4:40p. Specialty: Family Practice or Internal Medicine Setting: Rural Health Clinic, Outpatient clinic for SECH Duties: Family practice patients, some acute care walk-in Required Procedures: Joint injection, trigger point, preferred but not required EMR: Cerner Ambulatory Patients per Day: Patient volume expected 18 minimum, higher if acute care schedule Support Staff: Medical Assistant. Medical Director will be on-site 6 months out of the year. Reason for Coverage: Physician will be on LOA June 1- Sept 30th Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility: First day info? Orientation is typically 1-2 weeks. If the Provider is Cerner trained, it would typically be 1 week. Onboarding includes: Orientation to an RHC clinic & clinic orientation, etc... Provider coding meeting (1 hour) We will have a training set with Cerner to sign off on their competency - but this can be reduced to 1 day if they are already familiar with it. Credentialing Information: Timeframe: 30 days if everything is turned in quicky Requirements: Provider must complete insurance credentialing applications and required forms at the same time the medical staff application is submitted!! Credentialing with other facilities? No Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? No ####s to submit: Malpractice ####s - Must be included in the rates. Orientation - half the hourly rate, kicks in after 8 hours - "per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours" Hourly - "per hour, no OT" Corresponding holiday rates - must be 1.5x the regular rate.
