As a Medicare Sales Field Agent with Humana in the Banking, Insurance & Investment industry, you will play a critical role in helping Medicare-eligible individuals choose the coverage that best supports their health and financial well-being. Working within the Sales & Business Development team, you will represent Humana in the community, building relationships, educating seniors and their families, and guiding them through important decisions about Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and prescription drug plan options. In this member-focused, field-based role, you will prospect and develop a defined territory by cultivating relationships with community organizations, senior centers, providers, and local partners. You will conduct one-on-one consultations and small group educational sessions, listening carefully to each person’s health needs, budget, and preferences, and then clearly explaining the differences between plan options, benefits, costs, and networks. You will support eligible individuals through the entire enrollment process, ensuring applications are completed accurately and in full compliance with CMS and state regulations, while maintaining the highest ethical and integrity standards. You will stay up to date on Medicare rules, annual plan changes, and Humana’s evolving product portfolio so you can provide accurate, relevant, and timely information. Using CRM and other sales tools, you will track leads, follow-ups, and activities, manage your pipeline, and report on sales performance, territory trends, and member feedback. You will participate in community events, health fairs, and educational workshops to generate leads, increase awareness of Humana’s offerings, and demonstrate Humana’s commitment to accessible, simple, and personalized healthcare.
