Humana is seeking a driven and member-focused Medicare Sales Field Agent to join our Sales & Business Development team within the Banking, Insurance & Investment industry. In this field-based role, you will be the face of Humana in your local community, helping Medicare-eligible individuals understand their coverage options and confidently enroll in plans that support better health and well-being. As a Medicare Sales Field Agent, you will develop and execute a territory strategy to grow Humana’s Medicare membership through compliant, relationship-driven sales. You will cultivate leads from a variety of sources—including community events, provider offices, referrals, and local organizations—and convert them into satisfied members through education, consultation, and personalized enrollment support. Your day-to-day work will include meeting with prospects in their homes, at community locations, and in small group settings, explaining the differences between Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plans in clear, accessible language. You will be responsible for conducting one-on-one and group presentations, identifying member needs, matching those needs to Humana’s product offerings, and guiding individuals through the complete enrollment process. Every interaction must reflect strict adherence to CMS and state regulations as well as Humana’s high standards for ethics, integrity, and member advocacy. You will maintain a deep, current understanding of Medicare rules, Humana’s plan benefits and networks, and the competitive landscape to ensure that prospective members receive accurate, transparent information. Success in this role requires strong field sales skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage your time and territory independently. You will use CRM and analytics tools to track leads, manage your pipeline, and prioritize outreach efforts based on data-driven insights. Building and nurturing relationships with physicians, clinics, pharmacies, senior centers, and community organizations will be essential to driving referral-based growth and expanding Humana’s presence in your market.
