Office Assistant – Development Services (City of Tulsa)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay Rate: $18.63 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Duration: Temporary

Position Overview

Manpower is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Office Assistant to support the Development Services Department at the City of Tulsa. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in municipal government while contributing to a high-functioning administrative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit memos, letters, and general correspondence
• Utilize advanced computer software to manage and maintain database information
• Assist in preparing and documenting the department budget
• Support staff by answering questions using City Personnel Policies and Procedures
• Provide assistance to employees and the public regarding City department locations and functions
• Help develop and administer office procedures
• Coordinate special projects and conduct research
• Schedule and arrange meetings and conferences
• Attend committee/board/authority meetings and transcribe minutes
• Provide lead responsibilities and backup support to the team
• Report to work on a regular and timely basis

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and basic accounting/mathematics
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
• Familiarity with general office practices and procedures

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
