Process Engineer – Specialty Chemicals

As the Process Engineer you will...

• Lead process optimization and continuous improvement across production.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and all EHS requirements.
• Drive PSM activities (MOCs, PHAs, PSSRs), RCAs, and startup readiness.
• Serve as SME for chemistries, technologies, and unit ops.
• Analyze production/quality data to improve yield, cost, and cycle time.
• Support scale‑up of new products and process changes.
• Partner with operations & maintenance to improve equipment reliability and OEE.
• Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training documentation.
• Contribute to capital/reliability projects, including commissioning & startup.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support to production & utilities.

As the Process Engineer you should have...

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering (or related).
• 5+ years’ experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Strong background in batch processes & control systems; hazardous chemicals a plus.
• Solid knowledge of PSM (MOC, PHA, PSSR).
• Proven continuous improvement & project execution experience.
• Lean Six Sigma preferred (Green/Black Belt bonus).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective working with operations and influencing without authority.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced plant environment.
