The Role: As a Refuse Collector, you will be the face of the service, responsible for: Collecting domestic and commercial waste/recycling from designated routes. Operating bin lift mechanisms (training provided). Working as part of a close-knit team to ensure routes are completed safely and efficiently. Walking significant distances daily and handling heavy lifting. What We’re Looking For: Physical Fitness: You’ll be on your feet for the duration of the shift and lifting bins/bags. Reliability: You are someone who turns up on time, every time, regardless of the British weather! Team Players: A positive "can-do" attitude and the ability to work well with your driver and crew. Safety Conscious: An awareness of health and safety for yourself and the public. Requirements: Must be able to commute to the depot for a 06:00 start.
