Talent Acquisition Specialist (Onsite New York, NY)

Position Overview

Vensure is seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our onsite team in New York. This role is responsible for executing full-cycle recruiting strategies to support hiring needs across Vensure and its Division Partners. The successful candidate will bring strong business acumen, a deep understanding of recruitment best practices, and the ability to cultivate strong partnerships with hiring managers and candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Supervisor to assess staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media platforms, referrals, professional networks, and proactive outreach efforts
  • Conduct resume screenings and comprehensive interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment
  • Coordinate interviews and support hiring managers through each stage of the selection process
  • Communicate regularly with candidates to ensure a seamless, professional, and transparent experience
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate recruitment documentation
  • Track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Represent the organization at recruiting and community events, serving as a brand ambassador
  • Provide timely notifications to non-selected candidates and ensure adherence to recruitment compliance standards
  • Advise hiring managers on best practices related to recruitment, interviewing, and documentation
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all personnel information in accordance with federal and state regulations

Qualifications & Competencies

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting methodologies, sourcing techniques, and HR best practices
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport at all organizational levels
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Strong judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ATS platforms

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience required
  • Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state recruitment strongly preferred
  • PEO industry experience is a significant advantage
