Villa Vianney is the retirement residence for priests of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis. We are seeking a talented and caring Chef who enjoys creating nutritious, flavorful meals while fostering a welcoming dining experience for our priest residents and guests. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values hospitality, meaningful work, and the ability to make a daily difference through food and service.
Position Summary
The Chef is responsible for food preparation and production according to established dietary requirements for quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, and temperature. This position also plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience for residents and visitors through professionalism, hospitality, and attentive service.
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Chef manages meal planning, preparation, kitchen organization, food purchasing, and sanitation while maintaining a warm and respectful atmosphere within the residence.
