Contract Hardware Distributor is currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our talented team of professionals. Woodard Builders Supply is a family-owned company that has been in business since 1936. We have a 90-year history in furnishing commercial doors, frames and hardware throughout the United States.

This position is responsible for safely operating a Company vehicle to deliver doors, frames and hardware to customers on jobsites.  The driver will obtain signatures from job site personnel confirming accuracy of material unloaded.  In addition to deliveries, the driver will pick up orders from local manufacturers.

Essential Job Duties

• Operate a non CDL flatbed truck (16ft bed) in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents
• Drive to delivery locations, verify unloaded materials, and obtain the customer’s signature confirming receipt and accuracy of items listed on delivery tickets and schedules provided by office personnel
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery/pick up of products.
• Assuming other duties as assigned.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods of time

What We’re Looking For

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. regularly
• Prior forklift experience is a plus
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of delivery experience preferred, especially in construction or industrial settings
• Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset
