Role overview In this captain-level role, you will command PC-12 operations with a focus on safety, judgment, and teamwork. You will collaborate closely with operations and clinical teams, adapt to dynamic mission requirements, and navigate diverse terrain and weather with confidence. Exercise full PIC authority while ensuring compliance with all applicable FARs and company procedures. Plan and execute IFR and VFR missions, including unaided night operations and performance-critical environments. Conduct thorough preflight and postflight activities, performance and weight-and-balance calculations, and precise fuel planning. Communicate clearly with dispatch, medical crews, and stakeholders; deliver a professional, customer-focused experience. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office Suite. Travel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN’s service area as needed to support operations. Minimum requirements License: FAA ATP Medical: Class 2 Total PIC: 2,500 hours Turbine time: 1,500 hours Instrument time: 250 hours Unaided night: 250 hours Professional pilot experience: Minimum 5 years Type Rating: Not required (training provided) Accepted licenses: FAA Preferred qualifications 25 hours operating a PC-12 and successful completion of PC-12 ground and flight school within the last 12 months (preferred). Recent air medical transportation experience (preferred). Mountain flying experience (preferred). Additional requirements Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Ability to travel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN’s service area; must hold a valid driver’s license, have an automobile in good repair, and provide proof of auto insurance. Training and growth Type rating is not required—comprehensive PC-12 training is provided.
