New Season is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, providing specialized care for individuals living with opioid use disorder. As a key member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, you will deliver person-centered counseling services within an accredited, evidence-based program that integrates counseling and medication-assisted treatment. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and update individualized treatment plans, and provide both individual and group counseling sessions focused on recovery, relapse prevention, and long-term wellness. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, support safe and effective use of medication-assisted treatment, and ensure every patient receives comprehensive support tailored to their goals. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, maintaining detailed and timely documentation in electronic health records, educating patients and families about addiction and recovery, and responding to crises with sound clinical judgment and adherence to safety protocols. You will uphold all federal, state, and clinic regulations, including confidentiality and accreditation standards, while contributing to a clinic culture grounded in respect, inclusivity, and hope. New Season operates more than 70 accredited clinics across 22 states and is a recognized leader in quality care for opioid use disorder. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills, participate in regular team meetings and clinical supervision, and engage in ongoing training and professional development. New Season promotes an inclusive and supportive environment focused on employee development and well-being, and offers a stable, mission-driven workplace for healthcare professionals committed to making a meaningful impact. This full-time position typically follows a structured schedule in a clinic-based setting with the possibility of limited hybrid flexibility depending on site needs. Candidates should bring a strong commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, collaboration, and the belief that recovery is possible for every patient we serve.
